Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Malawi College of Health Sciences (MCHS) website and its associated portals (Student Portal, Moodle, and ODeL platforms), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

These terms apply to all visitors, students, faculty, and staff who access the service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the digital services provided by the College.

2. User Conduct

Users are expected to maintain the highest standards of integrity while using College resources. You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purposes or to promote illegal activities.
  • Attempt to interfere with the proper working of the Student Records Management system or Moodle.
  • Distribute viruses or any other technologies that may harm the College or the interests of other users.
  • Engage in any automated use of the system, such as using scripts to send messages or scrape data.

3. Privacy & Data Collection

Your privacy is important to us. Malawi College of Health Sciences automatically collects limited technical data when you visit our website, including IP addresses, pages viewed, browser type, and timestamps. This information is used solely for internal website analytics and security monitoring. No personal information is sold or shared with third parties.

We do not use cookies for general visitor tracking. All collected data is retained for a maximum of 90 days and then permanently deleted. By using this website, you consent to this server‑side logging as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding content provided by users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Malawi College of Health Sciences. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of the College Registrar.

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The College does not warrant that:

  • The service is free of viruses or other harmful components.

6. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Malawi, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.
